Upon entry, you will find an open floor plan featuring beautiful lighting from the windows, bright energetic colors throughout, area rugs from Morocco, Iran and Turkey all adding the worldly charm and bohemian chic surroundings. There are two sitting areas. The first one is as you walk in the door and it features a King George buffet table, leather love seat and games and books to enjoy a quiet reprieve for reading and relaxing. Just behind the sofa is a long wooden table near the ground from Ethiopia.
The second sitting area is warm and inviting offering a relaxing, peaceful feel that features a sofa (large enough for additional sleeping if needed), 2 chairs, flat screen smart TV, decorative fireplace and a large wooden coffee table with poufs that will ensure peace and comfort anywhere. You will no doubt love the kitchen where you can enjoy preparing your meals. Start your morning off right by enjoying your coffee at the table for two with a window that looks out to the backyard. The kitchen features a traditional coffee maker, flat top cook stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with water dispenser, and microwave. The dining room table is just off the kitchen and was carved from trees in Rwanda. Seating for 6 plus 3 barstools at the kitchen counter.
The private backyard has a pool, 2 chaise lounge chairs, covered patio with outdoor dining & seating and when you want to grill up burgers or steaks take your dinner outside to the BBQ grill! For avid bird watchers there are trees and plants in the front and back yards that attract hummingbirds and a variety of other bird species throughout the year. Hawks and flacons like to sit on the branches in the African Sumac tree in the front, which can be viewed from the two front bedrooms.
The Master Bedroom features a European King size bed that was custom made in the Netherlands (Holland), walk in closet, dresser, private bathroom with double sinks and walk in shower. Guest bedroom #1 has a day bed with a trundle so 2 twin beds, closet and dresser. Guest bedroom #2 has an heirloom brass double size bed that is an antique from Europe, dresser and closet. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combo and single sink.
Parking: Extended driveway and street parking available. No garage access.
