Ilma, Finnish for air, a mirrored tiny home positioned directly alongside Beaver Creek on 10 acres of secluded wilderness at Valo Refuge, our retreat center. Surrounded by walls of glass on three sides, this space brings the outside in. Featuring a kitchenette and private bath with heated bidet, as well as a personal fire pit and meditation area. The massive skylight allows stargazing above while in repose in bed. Privacy berms provide solitude and seclusion to get away from it all. Valo Refuge is an adults only wellness focused retreat center located in Huntsville, adjacent to the Causey Reservoir lands. We are focused on the modalities of yoga, mindfulness, silence, breathwork and sauna/cold plunge through retreats. The grounds consist of ten riparian acres lining the tranquil meandering waters of Beaver Creek. A communal sauna with cold plunge and a retreat room bordering the creek are also available for guest to use. If anything at all is not to your liking, kindly send us a message in the app and we will respond as soon as possible. Parking is on the West side of the Creek to preserve the retreat space on the east side of the creek, free of vehicles. We have a luggage cart and sleds for transport of any items to your units over the bridge along the pathways.
