This impeccable studio guest house in Carmel-by-the Sea is just a short stroll away from dining, shopping, entertainment and all downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea attractions.
This is a separate, detached studio-style guest house of about 330 sf, located on a shared property along with the main house. The two homes are separated by a small courtyard and patio. Coastal live oaks surround the property, preserving its unique sense of privacy while also letting in plenty of sunshine.
While the guest house does not have a kitchen, some basics have been provided to prepare simple meals. Start your day off with a cup of coffee before you head out to area attractions for the day. An ingenious drip-style coffeemaker-griddle-toaster oven combo, a microwave and small refrigerator are provided but there is no dishwasher or kitchen sink. Silverware, dishes and just a few basic cooking pieces are provided for simple meals in, and when you want to dine out you have just a short stroll to a bevvy of restaurants from which to choose.
Living / Sleeping Area
The cottage has a queen size bed in the main living area where there is also a TV with cable service. Wifi is also provided. A fireplace with a gas insert efficiently heats the cottage.
The private bathroom has a standing shower.
Outside there is a small patio area with a small charcoal Hibachi style grill and table and chairs for two.
One parking space is provided on a parking pad just near the street.

There is no laundry access on the property, but our team can direct you to several area laundromats for DIY laundry or fluff-and-fold service for your convenience.
This home is a long term rental available for terms of six months or more. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
