The Mountain View Lodge is a relatively new luxury log home/chalet which backs up to the Gallatin National Forest on a quiet dead-end street and only minutes from the West Gate of Yellowstone National Park. The home has a great view of Lionshead Peak and the surrounding mountains of the Continental Divide. It has 1,750 sq ft of living space, including 3 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Laundry Room, Family Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Sleeping Loft plus over 700 sq ft of covered side porch and open deck to enjoy the beautiful mountain views! Consistently rated favorably - e.g "Ready to see the Milky Way? This property was very comfortable and felt like home from the minute we arrived. There was plenty of seating inside and on the deck. The bedrooms were very comfortable and roomy. There are a few rentals/homes in the area, but nothing close enough to be a bother. The stars were amazing!! It's been a long time since we had seen the night sky with so little light pollution. Our son had his telescope and we enjoyed star gazing and seeing a comet. We also had an unexpected and shy visitor on our deck....a fox!! We highly recommend staying at this home when visiting Yellowstone."
