Located only 8.5 miles to Alta and Snowbird resorts. It is 0.5 miles to park and shuttle, and 18 miles to Brighton Resort. Located in a central location for hiking, skiing, and biking. Has all you need for cozy winter's night or relax in the spacious shared backyard in summer.

Summary: The location is great. Sandy is lovely. Here were our issues: 1. Photos are very misleading on the VRBO site. They showed a fire pit that when we arrived, we read in their instructions that we were not allowed to use as renters of the cottage. Only the separate house rental is allowed. They also showed a pool that, when we came, we were not allowed to use it either, only the separate house that they also rent out. 2. Towels: We rented for 12 days and were issued only one towel each (2 total). We happened to catch the cleaners of the big house and begged for more towels. We still had to go to the laundromat to wash THEIR towels in order to have what we needed. 3. Yellow Jacket Wasp Nest. Wasp nest attached to the cottage and a yellow jacket got inside the cottage. My partner is deathly allergic. One sting and she is in the hospital. On Saturday, I communicated my urgent need to have the wasp nest treated and removed, and texted bank and forth until Monday when they stopped answering. Pest control finally treated and removed the nest on Wednesday afternoon, 5 dangerous days after I first alerted them to the emergency situation. 4. Electrical issues: there is an issue in the switch to the bedroom light and overhead fan. There was a bulb out on the light fixture in the front room. Summary: overall, we felt misled, placed under the threat of a medical emergency for 5 days, and we were not well supplied in the cottage. Some issues with lights and switches too.
