Arivaca is close to a few lakes. Arivaca Lake is 11 miles away. Mineral Lake in Ruby (Ghost Town) Pina Blanca Lake and a little further away is Patagonia Lake.

At the Wildlife Adventure Ranch you will find a great space and a wealth of outdoor activities.
Luxurious indoor space with a country lodge feel. Watch a movie on the 75" flat-screen with surround sound. Enjoy a family meal. Play a game of pool or enjoy outdoor living on the newly completed 16' x 24' composite deck. Have a glass of wine on the outdoor sectional.
Hunters: Each Fall and Winter hunters flock to Arivaca for some of the best hunting in the state. Wildlife Adventure Ranch is a great place to stay for your next hunt. In addition to the Lodge we have two spacious RVs so we can accommodate a very large hunting party.
Hiking? We can do that! Take in the outdoors with a hike up Mustang Trail (Moderate 4 mile hike) just West of Arivaca in the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge. Take a drive south to the well preserved ghost town of Ruby AZ, (reservations required) Also Sycamore Canyon or California Gulch!
Bird Watching - Many of our guest are ornithologists and have reported seeing an incredible variety of birds right from our deck. We keep bird food and water out 24/7 as to attract as many varieties as possible.
Forget Something? The Arivaca Mercantile has nearly everything you may need. From steak, chicken and fish to frozen meals, coffee, vegetables, HUGE selection of Beer and Wine, hardware, cat and dog food and much much more! Enjoy our lovely little "General Store"
Enjoy downtown Arivaca at the Saturday Farmers Market, or have lunch and a drink at The LaGitana (The oldest bar in Arizona) LaGitana is well know for First Saturday celebration with great patio seating, live bands and great food and libations. Have a Side by Side or ATV? Bring it! We have plenty of parking and more trails than you can ride in a lifetime. Buenos Aires is a GIANT National Wildlife Preserve and there are dirt roads for miles and miles.
Border Wall - As we all know the Border Wall is controversial, we do not try to understand our guests interests in seeing the Wall. For or against, we have found that both sides of the political Isle have interest in this excursion. Just 20 miles SW of Arivaca is the Town of Sassabe where the Border Wall is brand new and can be accessed all the way to the base. Great for pictures.
Ruby Arizona - Is an old Ghost Town with a rich mining history. The town is extremely well preserved which includes a museum, school house, jail, townhall, Townsite homes, mining ruins, two lakes and a beach....Yes, I said a beach. Ruby is worth the trip to the area on its own.
There is so much to do and see around Arivaca or there is just time to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet that the Wildlife Adventure Ranch offers.
We also have a 2016 Jayco White Hawk Travel Trailer and a fully renovated 2000 Fleetwood Bounder 39z Motor Home listed individually on Airbnb.
Guests are able to access the entire house minus the master bedroom closet. Guest can use the upstairs computer desk, billiard room, deck, outdoor fire pit, fenced in back yard for your furry friends.
Lazy Acres Trail is a quiet area down a short dirt road from the paved Universal Ranch Road. My property is less than a minute from Arivaca Road (The Highway) There are a hand full of properties in the Lazy Acres neighborhood all of which are on a minimum of 3 acres. The area is ultra safe, quiet and very beautiful.
Many miles of ATV/UTV trails in the area. To be clear we do not offer ATV rentals.
The laundry room is available to all guests. Including the RVs.
